As the business continues to expand across key markets, they are seeking an Accountant to join their finance team and support the operational and financial management of multi-jurisdictional entities.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a pivotal role in driving accuracy, control, and insight within a growing and fast-paced construction environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Month-end close activities including journal postings, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations Balance sheet reviews and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting Submission of VAT and VIES returns for Ireland and the UK, ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register for construction-related plant, equipment, and property assets Preparation and consolidation of monthly financial statements for multiple business units Act as the main finance liaison for project teams Authorise supplier and subcontractor payment runs, ensuring proper controls are maintained Support the external audit process for multiple legal entities at year-end Candidate Profile: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) A minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience, ideally within the construction, engineering, or related project-based industries Strong grasp of accounting standards, financial controls, and reporting procedures Proficient IT skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines across jurisdictions Comfortable working independently and within a fast-moving, collaborative finance function Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Interested in this Opportunity?
