Occupational Therapist Career Opportunity
As a key member of our Neurology service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team, you will manage your own caseload, conducting comprehensive assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment programmes to meet the needs of patients.
Key aspects of this role include:
* Providing expert occupational therapy services to patients with neurological conditions, focusing on rehabilitation and improving functional ability.
* Managing a diverse caseload and collaborating with colleagues to establish effective care pathways.
* Supervising junior occupational therapists and therapy assistants, contributing to their professional development and training.
* Collaborating with senior clinicians to develop and implement innovative treatments and therapies.

Essential Requirements
* Recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist, with eligibility for registration with CORU.
* At least 3 years' experience working with people with neurological conditions, including complex seating experience and functional cognitive assessment skills.
* Proven track record of supervising staff and students, with expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams.
* Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work collaboratively across teams and services.
