Responsibilities
Supporting the nursing staff in providing care to the residents
Ensuring residents' hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the residents
Assisting residents with feeding.
Assisting residents with mobilizing and using the correct aids
Facilitate and implement a person-centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes, and requirements of the resident.
Escorting or/and transfer residents as directed by the Nursing staff
Promote and actively involved in teamwork.
Any other duties deemed necessary by the nursing staff and management.
Qualifications
QQI or FETAC Level 5 Healthcare/Pre-nursing
or
an equivalent qualification
(6 months minimum, proof of employment required)
