Mobile Electrician (Midlands) with van (Roscrea area)
Pay: €50,000 – €52,000 neg. per year plus van, pension, healthcare
Reporting to Facilities Manager
Key Accountabilities:
· To carry out reactive and preventative maintenance.
· To ensure correct and effective system operation of electrical and control systems on the client sites.
· To liaise and communicate as needed with end users/customers.
· To specify and order supplies or materials as needed.
· Complete all site lighting repairs and replacements.
· To monitor and respond to BMS alarms.
· Ensure all health, safety and environmental requirements are fulfilled prior to work commencement.
· To complete small projects.
· Ensure documentation of work activities.
· To update and utilise site CMMS systems for recording of work activities.
· Assist in keeping buildings and work areas or storage areas clean and tidy.
· Assist with the direct supervision of vendors/contractors on site to ensure a comprehensive Contractor Management System.
· To be flexible and adaptable to new working methods, practises, plant, equipment or procedures.
· To maintain electrical and control systems, plant and work equipment in good order.
· The post holder will follow safe systems of work, taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others.
· Ensure Customer Service standards are world class.
· Candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a growing team. They must be capable and willing to undertake additional technical service duties as the need/demand requires.
· To adopt a professional attitude and approach to work.
· The role requires an individual with a customer-focused proactive attitude and technical strengths, combined with an ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Note:
There is an on call required 1 in 7 weeks which is additional 100 payment and minimum call-out payment of 4 hours pay at 1.5 times up to 12am and 2 times after 12am regardless of the length of call. There is scope for overtime during the year as well
