Job Purpose
To work as part of the global International Financial Services (IFS) Team in identifying and winning high quality investments in line with IDA’s strategy Adapt Intelligently: A Strategy for Sustainable Growth and Innovation 2024-29. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with interest in Marketing, Research and Analysis. The successful candidate will support the IFS Team in working with major clients and global leaders in the sector, with the core objective of winning and supporting their growth and development in Ireland.
Key Tasks
* To carry out sectoral and company market research in support of the work of the Division and Overseas Offices.
* To deliver a high level of professional client‑focused relationship management and after care service to client companies including but not limited to preparing requests for information (RFIs) and client presentations, drafting permits/visa support letters, and supporting other client follow‑ups.
* To design, organise and manage itineraries and/or client visits for the Division.
* To contribute to the preparation and delivery of investment proposals including financial analysis for submission to the IDA Ireland Board and Committees.
* To maintain and update information on existing companies, target companies and industry trends using relevant databases.
* To research trends and opportunities in the industry and keep up to date with emerging business models and other developments in the sector.
* To work with regional teams in co‑ordinating, preparing and maintaining IFS related marketing materials.
* To support the IFS team in all aspects of planning, managing, and delivering IFS marketing events and exhibitions.
* To liaise with IFS and Communication teams in activating and exploring new means of online marketing activities when appropriate, using social media technology to support the Division’s marketing efforts.
* To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process.

Additional Requirements
* A third level qualification to Level 7 standard recognised on the National Qualification Framework is essential.
* In depth knowledge of MS Office.
* A full driver’s license is desirable.
* Ability to work well under pressure, independently and on own initiative.
* Aspects of this role will require travel and working outside of normal office hours.
* Ongoing flexibility and interest in career progression and development via opportunities, which may arise in IDA’s offices in Ireland and Overseas.
Salary Scale
€31,545 to €58,019 per annum contributory superannuation. Rising by long service increments to €59,911 (after 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range) and €61,817 (after 6 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range).
