Job Title: Maintenance Services Manager
The role of the Maintenance Services Manager is to oversee the maintenance services of a large organisation, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Maintenance Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* To coordinate and manage the operational maintenance services, utilising the skills and expertise of the Maintenance Team and external contractors.
* To supervise and monitor the work of the Maintenance Team, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols and organisational standards.
* To develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules, in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
* To assume responsibility for the line management of the Maintenance Team, including human resource responsibilities such as performance management, training and development, and employee relations.
* To ensure that the necessary skills and knowledge are available within the Maintenance Team to carry out operations and maintenance activities, providing training and development opportunities as required.
* To operate and maintain labour management systems, ensuring efficient planning and utilisation of resources.
* To establish and monitor performance targets for the Maintenance Team, reviewing and adjusting these as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services discipline, with at least 2 years' experience in managing multi-disciplined maintenance teams.
* OR HND/HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services discipline, with at least 3 years' experience in managing multi-disciplined maintenance teams.
* Current full driving licence valid for use in the UK, and access to a car upon appointment.
Remuneration: circa £37,338 per annum, plus benefits package.
