Location - Dublin 18, Ireland (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in endpoint management, patch management, and Windows OS upgrades. As an MECM SME, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our endpoint management solutions to ensure the security, compliance, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary SME for MECM, providing strategic guidance and hands-on expertise.
* Design, implement, and manage MECM solutions for endpoint management, including software distribution, patch management, and operating system deployment.
* Develop and maintain MECM infrastructure, including site servers, distribution points, and management points.
* Create and manage task sequences for Windows OS upgrades and deployments.
* Monitor and troubleshoot MECM infrastructure and client issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement endpoint management policies and procedures.
* Provide technical guidance and support to IT staff and end-users on MECM-related issues.
* Stay up to date with the latest MECM features, updates, and best practices to ensure the continuous improvement of our endpoint management solutions.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, configuration settings, and change management records.
* Provide training and mentorship to junior IT staff on SCCM best practices and tools.
* Required Skills:
* Proven experience as an MECM administrator or SME in a medium to large-scale enterprise environment.
* In-depth knowledge of MCEM, including application deployment, patch management, and operating system deployment (OSD).
* Expertise in endpoint management and understanding of modern device management tools.
* Hands-on experience with planning and executing Windows upgrades (e.g., Windows 10 to Windows
* Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, and PowerShell scripting.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement.
* Manage Upgrade of SCCM Infrastructure.
* Proficiency with SCCM task sequences, custom detection methods, and SCCM reporting.
* Deployment of Applications and Software Updates .
* Keep documentation up to date, including SOPs and deployment guides.
* Create, Modify and produce custom reporting as needed and good knowledge in SQL queries
* Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
* Manage SCCM Client Deployment, Health and troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of Intune and modern endpoint management tools is a plus.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an MECM SME or in a similar role, with a strong focus on endpoint management, patch management, and Windows OS upgrades.
* In-depth knowledge of MECM architecture, components, and functionalities.
* Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Preferred Qualifications:
* Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or MECM related.
* Experience with Intune and co-management scenarios.
* Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other related technologies.
* Experience with Azure and cloud-based SCCM integration
