Sean Loughnane's is currently recruiting a Team Leader to join our production team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take responsibility for an assigned production area, ensuring smooth daily operations while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and performance.
The Role
As Team Leader, you will oversee your production area, manage staff, and work closely with Supervisors and Management to communicate performance, resolve issues, and achieve daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
* Ensure all SOPs are followed throughout production to meet quality, specification, and quantity requirements
* Deliver the daily production plan, including scheduling staff for production lines
* Achieve daily production targets
* Ensure production areas are maintained to a high standard at start-up, during production, and at close
* Manage and support staff within your team
* Ensure all Health & Safety policies are followed in your area
* Ensure machinery and equipment are kept in good working order and properly maintained
* Maintain accurate production records and documentation
* Input data relating to yields, labour, and mass balance into the correct systems
* Ensure all paperwork is fully completed, checked, and signed off
* Participate in staff reviews in conjunction with the Supervisor
* Ensure adequate cover for holidays and absences
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as required
