**Responsibilities**
The Deputy Head of Procurement will be responsible for deputising for the Head of Procurement, overseeing the management of the Procurement Function of Beaumont Hospital, and managing tendering procedures for high-value capital construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate complex commercial problems.
**Key Accountabilities**
The following key accountabilities are integral to this role:
* Deputising for the Head of Procurement and overseeing the management of the Procurement Function of Beaumont Hospital.
* Managing tendering procedures for high-value capital construction projects, including assembling competition documentation, evaluating tender submissions, and implementing contracts.
* Providing ad-hoc support and advice to HSE Dublin and North East health region concerning public tendering competitions.
