The opportunity
We are looking for an Associate specialising in Commercial law
including Commercial, Data Protection & Digital Regulation to join
our fast-growing team in Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity to take your career to the next
level. You will be part of a multi-partner, cross border team that
assists our clients, across a range of sectors. There will be an
abundance of opportunities for career development within our

Bird & Bird's commercial team in Ireland
specialises in contracts, data protection, and digital regulation.
We draft and advise on commercial contracts, especially those
involving IP, technology, and digital services, with a focus on the
technology, media, entertainment, and life sciences sectors. Our
team also guides clients in regulatory matters, and these can touch
on data, consumer protection, AI, digital regulation, media, or
cybersecurity. Experience working with regulators and clients in our
key sectors is desirable.
We are looking for a person who has some experience
working in a high-performance environment, with experience in
commercial contracts, privacy and / or regulatory or advisory work.

What you'll do
You will work with our commercial team in Ireland, and across our
network worldwide, from Ireland.
You will also be involved in the coordination of cross-border projects.
You will enjoy working in a way that supports our client's strategic
objectives, whilst being practical and commercial, and to become
involved in the numerous business development opportunities. And to
have some fun along the way.
The main responsibilities of this role are outlined above;
however, this description is not exhaustive, and the job holder may
be required to undertake additional duties from time to time to
ensure the smooth running of the department.
