Job Title: Senior Project Manager Location: Dublin & United Kingdom (with travel as required) Salary: Competitive + Benefits + Performance Bonus Overview We are looking for an accomplished Senior Project Manager with a strong foundation in Quantity Surveying and over 10 years' experience delivering successful property and construction projects.
This role demands a commercially astute professional with deep knowledge of procurement, project delivery, and regulatory compliance across both the Republic of Ireland and the UK.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership Manage the full project lifecycle for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across Ireland and the UK.
Define and control project scope, timelines, budgets, and risk management plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Lead project teams and coordinate stakeholders to achieve delivery milestones.
Procurement & Commercial Management Lead the procurement process for contractors, consultants, and suppliers, adhering to company policy and project requirements.
Apply Quantity Surveying expertise in cost planning, tendering, contract negotiations, and change control.
Administer contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC), ensuring payment schedules, claims, and variations are managed effectively.
Regulatory Compliance & Building Control Ensure compliance with all Building Control Regulations, including Part L (energy performance), fire safety, structural integrity, and accessibility standards.
Liaise with Approved Inspectors, Building Control Authorities, and design consultants to manage inspections and obtain compliance certificates.
Stay current with changes in building legislation and local authority requirements in both jurisdictions.
Team Coordination, Quality, & HSE Oversight Promote high standards of quality, health & safety, and environmental performance on all projects.
Enforce compliance with CDM Regulations (UK) and other relevant HSE legislation.
Champion sustainable practices and adherence to environmental guidelines.
Reporting & Governance Produce clear and structured reports on project progress, cost tracking, risk, and milestones for senior leadership and investors.
Maintain thorough and auditable project documentation in line with governance and compliance standards.
Requirements Qualifications & Experience Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years' project management experience in construction and property development.
Chartered or working towards professional chartership (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB, MCIArb or equivalent).
Proven expertise in procurement, cost control, contract administration, and contractor management.
In-depth understanding of Building Control requirements across both Ireland and the UK.
Proficient in tools such as MS Project, Asta Powerproject, or Primavera.
Experience with Procore or similar project management platforms is a strong advantage.
