Lead Project Manager
This is a high-profile role in the energy sector where you will lead the project management office (PMO) and oversee the full lifecycle of projects. As Lead Project Manager, your main focus will be on developing and managing long-term programmes, budgets, and integrated resource plans.
Main Responsibilities
* Establishing and leading the PMO function to align with organisational goals and implementing scalable project delivery frameworks.
* Overseeing the full lifecycle of projects, ensuring robust planning, risk management, and resource allocation.
* Developing and managing long-term programmes, monitoring expenditures, and maintaining integrated resource plans.
* Acting as the point of contact with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and governance.
* Building, leading, and mentoring a high-performing PMO team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement.
* Defining and managing KPIs for project delivery and providing regular reports to senior executives and governance bodies.
* Maintaining strong strategic thinking, business acumen, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Requirements
* Minimum 10+ years in project and programme management within the energy or infrastructure sectors, with proven leadership and budget management experience.
* Strong financial and commercial acumen, with budget accountability experience.
* Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline; professional certification desirable.
