The Role:
Generate, manage and leverage systemized maintenance forecasts to enable proactive management of our leases and identify opportunities for improved financial returns.
Liaise and collaborate with key stakeholders to support and influence internal deal teams with extensions, remakerting, trading, placement, and origination opportunities.
Identify emerging trends in aircraft engine maintenance and leverage industry knowledge and experience to refine and improve the accuracy of our maintenance forecasts
Evolve the Aerlytix forecasting platform, maintaining data accuracy and system control in line with SOx compliance, while driving platform enhancements for future business needs
Manage all trading activity as required, including due diligence query management with robust commercial awareness.
Act as a bridge between technical events and financial outcomes, partnering with commercial, technical, and deal teams to unlock value from leases
Prepare and report business outputs to senior management.
Provide maintenance forecast and commentary on the active management of our assets to the boards of our managed entities (ABS).
Produce and manage relevant calculations for maintenance reserve escalations, maintenance reserves letters of credit and EOLAs.

Essential Skills and Experience:
Third level Degree in Engineering and/or Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License.
A ircraft leasing experience required
Have intimate knowledge of the aircraft and engine asset classes owned or managed by Avolon.
Experience with Maintenance Forecasting with strong understanding of key financial and operational drivers is required.
Experience in aircraft trading management is required including due diligence and knowledge of technical covenants.
Highly proficient in interpreting legal terms relating to technical covenants of lease agreements and ability to highlight and mitigate commercial risks.
A strong IT proficiency individual who strives for continuous improvement in systems and processes.
Self-starter and leads change effectively, demonstrating a track record of managing multiple projects and delivering on key milestones in a dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills demonstrating an understanding of the key financial and operational drivers of the company.
Highly motivated who brings original thought, challenge, and innovation to solving problems.
Independent minded and highly articulated able to express your thoughts with conviction, showing bravery in confronting established thought while recognising alternative perspectives.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills.
