Role Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical and Electrical T&C Coordinator to report to the Contracts Manager and Mechanical & Electrical Services Manager. The role involves coordinating testing, commissioning, and QA/QC activities to ensure project milestones are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Report to Contracts Manager and Mechanical and Electrical services manager for allocation of tasks
* Review and report on Mechanical and Electrical systems progression on site, in preparation of testing and commissioning
* Review and report on area building completions in preparation of testing and commissioning
* Attend and report at commissioning whiteboards
* Attend and report on Testing and Commissioning and QA/QC items as part of Mechanical and Electrical Co‑Ordination Meetings
* Report on progress of project commissioning programme
* Review and report on Mechanical and Electrical systems quality on site; work with Mechanical and Electrical contractor QA/QC leads to identify issues and close them
* Complete regular audits of Mechanical and Electrical contractors' quality plan on site
* Attend and check Mechanical and Electrical aspects wall/ceiling closure QA/QC checks
* Complete and follow up on closure of temporary electric audits
* Participate and attend design team and client mechanical and electrical system demonstrations for PC & BCAR as required
* Assist in the production and upload of BCAR and Safety File Data documentation
Skills / Experience Required
* A relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
* Excellent IT skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
* Ability to navigate BIM Models
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Good planning and organisation skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
