Our client, a leading investment management firm based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced
Investment Oversight Officer
for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This part-time role (21 hours per week) offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust investment oversight framework.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, protecting investor interests, and providing strategic leadership in investment oversight activities.
This role requires office-based work in Dublin.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain comprehensive investment oversight policies, procedures, and frameworks in compliance with UCITS Directive, AIFMD, and Central Bank of Ireland requirements.
Act as PCF30 (CIO) and PCF39D (Designated Person for Investment Management)
Provide senior-level oversight of delegated investment managers, ensuring adherence to policies, risk parameters, and regulatory obligations.
Lead quarterly and ad-hoc due diligence reviews of investment managers, assessing their resources, performance, and capabilities.
Monitor and evaluate investment performance, risk metrics, portfolio positioning, and adherence to mandates across all funds.
Prepare and present detailed investment oversight reports to the Board, Management Committee, and regulatory authorities as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in investment management, fund oversight, or related asset management functions, with prior experience in a PCF role or similar controlled functions in Ireland or the EU.
Strong understanding of Irish and EU regulatory frameworks, including UCITS Directive, AIFMD, and Central Bank of Ireland requirements.
Demonstrated expertise in investment strategies, portfolio construction, risk management, and performance measurement.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex investment data and market information.
Strong project management capabilities and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
