Salary: €28,000 - €30,000 per annum

At Hibernia Home Care, we believe that care begins with compassion — and that starts with our team. We’re seeking a proactive, organised, and caring Administrator to support our home care operations and help ensure our clients receive seamless, person-centred care.


Role Overview

As a Home Care Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our service, acting as the first point of contact for clients and carers, assisting the scheduling team, and keeping our office running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities


Client & Staff Communication

* Handle incoming calls and route queries efficiently

* Provide warm, professional support to clients, families, and care staff

* Log and follow up on queries to ensure timely resolution


Scheduling Support

* Assist with scheduling updates and care visit coordination

* Track staff availability and client needs accurately

* Manage changes and cancellations with empathy and speed


Administrative Duties

* Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and document management

* Help prepare reports, rosters, and internal communications

* Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all policies


Initiative & Problem Solving

* Respond to urgent requests or last-minute changes with calmness and care

* Anticipate team needs and support office efficiency

* Suggest improvements to enhance our admin processes


Teamwork & Professionalism

* Work collaboratively across departments

* Support managers with ad-hoc admin needs

* Represent Hibernia Home Care professionally to visitors and callers


About You – Qualifications & Skills

* Previous admin experience preferred, especially in care or healthcare

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

* Confident using Microsoft Office; scheduling software experience a bonus

* Calm under pressure, flexible, and willing to help where needed

* A caring, client-focused attitude that reflects our values
