Occupational Therapist Medforce are looking for an Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to children and young people (0-18 years) with disabilities and their families, within the CDNT framework. This includes assessments, interventions, programme planning, and support services, delivered in a person/family-centred, interdisciplinary context, to support development, participation, and inclusion.This role is based in Trim, Co Meath Responsibilities of Occupational Therapist Provide occupational therapy assessments (standardised and non-standardised) to children with a range of disabilities (physical, sensory, developmental, intellectual, autism spectrum, etc.). Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate individualised intervention plans focused on self-care, productivity, leisure, and overall functional participation. Collaborate with service users, families/carers, and multi-disciplinary team members to identify goals and deliver family-centred care. Recommend/adapt and prescribe appropriate assistive/adaptive equipment; take into account client needs, environment, staff/carer support, and available resources. Participate in service-planning processes, waiting-list management, assessment of need (AON) processes under the Disability Act, and other related statutory functions as required. Maintain accurate, timely records, reports, statistics and documentation in compliance with professional standards. Engage in team meetings, contribute to service evaluation, programme development, and quality improvement initiatives. Provide training/education and consultation to families, carers, staff, or external parties as needed. Be flexible in working across various settings, including community and possibly outreach, to meet service demands. Requirement of Occupational Therapist Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) recognised under Irish standards. Registered or eligible for registration with the relevant statutory body (i.e. CORU) as an Occupational Therapist. Experience and/or interest in paediatric disability services, working with children with complex needs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with families, children, and in multidisciplinary teams. Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle. #MEDAHP
