With a strong technical foundation and experience in highway and urban drainage design—ideally within the Irish market—you’ll support the Drainage Discipline Lead in delivering high-quality drainage services across all stages of project development.You’ll coordinate with colleagues across Ireland, the UK, and our Global Delivery Centres to ensure technical excellence and seamless collaboration. Your expertise in hydraulic modelling and drainage design software will help drive innovation and efficiency, while your mentorship of junior engineers will contribute to the continuous improvement of our drainage capability.In this role, you will:Deliver technically robust drainage designs that meet client and regulatory requirements.Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and efficient project delivery.Support junior engineers in their development and contribute to a culture of learning and improvement.Apply sustainable design principles and innovative thinking to solve complex drainage challenges.Work flexibly from Dublin or the surrounding area, with regular engagement at office and client sites.Jacobs’ Transportation team is recognised for delivering high-profile projects for clients such as Transport Infrastructure Ireland, National Highways, Transport Scotland, Network Rail, Welsh Government, HS2 Ltd, and numerous Local Authorities.
