Clinical Psychologist – Children's Disability Services

Cpl Healthcare is currently recruiting a passionate and experienced Clinical Psychologists to join our dedicated team within the Community Healthcare Organisation Dublin North City and County. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people facing complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to design and implement tailored care plans.
3. Offer consultation, clinical supervision, and support to team members and trainee psychologists.
4. Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with service protocols.
5. Contribute to service development, policy implementation, and ongoing quality improvement.
6. Stay current with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychology.
7. Develop and deliver training and psychoeducational programmes for families and professionals.
8. Uphold the ethical standards of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and other regulatory bodies.

Essential Requirements:

9. Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology (must be validated by the Dept of Health in Ireland).
10. Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a clinical setting.
11. Eligible for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
12. Strong assessment and therapeutic skills across a variety of clinical presentations.
13. Experience supporting children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
14. Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
15. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
16. Previous experience in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
17. Training in specific therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, systemic therapy).
18. Experience delivering training or psychoeducation to families or professionals
