Job Summary: We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to lead all on-site activities of a project, ensuring cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
* Plan project on-site activities together with the Project Manager, including necessary resources, equipment, and milestones.
* Coordinate agreement between customer and external resources on construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization, and policy.
* Be responsible for the site from receiving the assigned site area from the customer until handing over it back to the customer on completion day.
* Coordinate all on-site activities to ensure the successful execution of start-up, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
* Serve as a project representative on site.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and other local stakeholders.
* E nsure correct handling, storage, and installation of equipment and material to avoid any damages.
* Report promptly to project logistics when goods have been received to site.
* E nsure that detailed and up-to-date risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are in place in respect of each work package, compliant with the project health and safety plan.
* E nsure all on-site resources are properly trained and proactively promote health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project.
* Control project cost for the project site work, monitor actual spend against forecasts, and estimate final cost for the same.
* E nsure all documentation is modified and updated as necessary, the document handling system is maintained, and latest revisions are used for the construction work on site.
* Manage sub-contractors on site to ensure that necessary quality and progress are achieved to meet delivery date and agreed standards.
* Report regularly to the Project Manager on site activities, HSE (health, safety, environment), quality, progress, cost.
* Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
