Role Overview
The Membership & Golf Operations Coordinator will provide essential support to the Golf Operations Department, reporting directly to the Head of Operations for Carr Golf Services.
This role involves close collaboration with Golf Operations Managers and the Finance Team, ensuring smooth membership administration, managing group booking deposits, and supporting wider operational needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Process new membership sales and update customer accounts weekly
* Manage membership renewals bi-weekly and ensure accounts are kept up to date
* Oversee membership and group deposit collection
* Liaise with venue Finance Managers to complete monthly collections of outstanding balances and issue invoices where required
* Manage group booking deposits and ensure full payment is received in line with business policy prior to play
* Provide general office administration support including correspondence, phone queries, and diary management for the Head of Operations
* Take minutes for monthly Services HOD meetings and circulate to Department Leads and Head of Operations
* Support quarterly Operations Department reviews by preparing and delivering administrative updates on membership and group booking processes
What You Will Bring
* A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent relevant experience)
* At least 1 year of proven administrative experience
* A strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills (both verbal & written)
* High levels of organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Strong analytical, research, and evaluation skills
* Solid understanding of office management principles and procedures
* Discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
* An adaptable, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
