Accounts Assistant Position
This prominent logistics company is looking for a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team for an initial 9-month contract, with potential for permanency. The role involves working closely with the Financial Director and financial accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage company banking and ensure timely reconciliation.
* Prepare and submit VAT and other tax returns on time.
* Process invoices efficiently and accurately.
* Assist with accounts receivable and billing tasks.
* Provide administrative support, including diary management and office administration.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
* Proven skills in office and diary management.
* Strong knowledge of banking, invoicing, and taxation principles.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is an asset.
