Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced talent acquisition specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in driving the company's hiring strategy, ensuring that top talent is engaged and recruited across various functions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of openings, collaborating with business leaders and HR colleagues to identify and attract top candidates. They will also be expected to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of delivering results. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Requirements:
o 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in talent acquisition/recruitment
o Experience working in biotech or pharmaceutical industry preferred
o In-house recruitment experience an asset
Key qualifications include outstanding client service, problem-solving, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will also have strong influencing and negotiating skills, as well as a strong understanding of compensation guidelines, legal implications in hiring, and relocation and immigration processes.
A strong technical expertise in utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is required, with preference given to Jobvite. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
