Our client are a well established and highly regarded Irish main contractor delivering a strong pipeline of commercial, residential, and mixed use developments across Dublin and the surrounding areas. Known for their quality delivery, collaborative culture, and longterm staff retention, they continue to experience sustained growth across the business.
Due to this growth, they are now seeking a Construction Buyer to join their commercial team and support live projects across their portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Procuring construction materials and plant in line with project programmes
* Placing purchase orders and managing supplier lead times
* Liaising closely with site teams to meet delivery schedules and specification requirements
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
* Monitoring market pricing, availability, and trends
Requirements
* Experience as a Buyer within a main contractor or construction environment in Ireland
* Strong knowledge of construction materials and Irish supply chains
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement systems
