About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project quantity surveying and estimating across a range of construction projects. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is commercially minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with project managers and site teams.You will be responsible for cost control from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions- Carry out take-offs and pricing from drawings and specifications- Manage project cost reporting, forecasts, and cash flows- Handle valuations, variations, and change control- Procure subcontractors and suppliers, including tender comparisons- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts- Work closely with project managers to control costs and margins- Assess subcontractor payments and commercial performance- Provide commercial advice throughout the project lifecycleRequirements- Degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics (or equivalent experience)- Proven experience in quantity surveying and estimating within construction- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills- Proficient in Excel and estimating software-Strong communication skills and ability to work independentlyDesirable- Experience across civil, commercial & residential projects- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously- Knowledge of local supply chains and subcontractorsWhat We Offer- Competitive salary based on experience- Long-term role with a growing company- Varied and interesting projects- Supportive team environment with real responsibility- Opportunity to influence commercial outcomes and project successJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
