About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly capable and detail-oriented
Finance Manager
to oversee the financial health of a growing organisation. The role is responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and risk management, ensuring financial operations are compliant, efficient, and aligned with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts.
* Analyse financial data and trends to support decision-making.
* Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics.
Reporting & Compliance
* Produce timely and accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
* Coordinate internal and external audits.
Budgeting & Cost Control
* Manage departmental budgets and monitor expenditures.
* Conduct variance analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
* Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds.
* Manage banking relationships and optimise working capital.
Investment & Strategic Support
* Conduct financial evaluations of new projects, investments, and opportunities.
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Risk Management & Controls
* Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Maintain robust internal controls and ensure data integrity.
Team Leadership
* Lead and develop the finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
* Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
* Minimum of 5+ years' experience in financial management or related roles.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards; experience in Mergers & Acquisitions desirable.
* Proficiency in financial software.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* Leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
