The Job Advocate plays a vital role in empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to access and maintain paid employment.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Employer engagement and recruitment
 * Job sourcing and matching for optimal placement
 * Pre-employment training tailored to supported individuals' needs
 * Facilitating reasonable accommodations to promote job retention and independence
 * Providing initial onsite support for seamless integration
Candidates must possess a CORU approved Level 7 degree in Social Care or be eligible to register as a Social Care Worker. A minimum of 1-2 years' experience supporting individuals with disabilities or disadvantaged groups is also required.
As a dedicated advocate, you will work closely with individuals to identify their strengths and develop strategies to overcome challenges, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
