As a care provider with Family Carers Ireland, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting family carers and their loved ones with disabilities, frail older people, or those living with chronic illnesses.
Job Overview:
This role involves delivering quality person-centred care in a home environment. You will be responsible for supporting family carers and their loved ones with physical or intellectual disabilities, frail older people, or those living with chronic illnesses or addiction.
* Provide support and care to family carers and their loved ones
* Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
* Prepare healthy meals and maintain a clean and safe living environment
* Engage in activities that promote social interaction and emotional well-being
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
* QQI Level 5 Healthcare Modules: Care Skills and Care of the Older Person
* QQI Level 5 Full Healthcare Award including above modules
* 1 year paid experience in a similar caring role
* Satisfactory Garda Vetting
* Excellent communication and people skills

* Flexible rotas to match your availability
* Hourly rate: €14.70 - Half hour and premium rates for Sundays and Bank Holidays are also paid
* Mileage/Travel Time: 30c per kilometre + fortnightly travel payment
* Annual Leave Entitlement: 8% of hours work subject to a maximum of four working weeks per annum
