Civil Contract Manager Role
Our company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Civil Contract Manager to join our team. This senior-level role involves managing multiple civil engineering projects, ensuring the successful delivery of works both on-site and from head office.
The ideal candidate will be confident and capable of building strong relationships with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams. They will oversee all aspects of contract delivery, from tendering and procurement to resource management and project execution.
This includes leading and managing multiple contracts and frameworks simultaneously, developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and local authorities, managing office-based and site-based personnel as well as subcontractors, overseeing and contributing to the tendering process, coordinating with various departments to gather necessary information for tender submissions, attending and leading client and stakeholder meetings, and ensuring all team members and subcontractors perform to the highest standards and in accordance with project requirements.
Requirements
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in contract management within the civil engineering or construction industry, strong knowledge of the tendering process and associated documentation, demonstrated experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors, excellent project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines, strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to lead teams and coordinate resources effectively across projects.
Package
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary negotiable depending on experience, annual leave of 21 days, working hours of Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, statutory sick pay, pension support, provided laptop, phone, company vehicle, and fuel card.
