Quantity Surveyor Location: Gorey, Co.
Wexford A growing construction and fabrication contractor based in Gorey is looking to hire their first Quantity Surveyor as part of the next phase of their growth.
The company delivers industrial buildings, sheds and commercial units across Ireland, with project values typically up to €2.5 M.
Due to a strong pipeline of work and continued expansion, they are now bringing the commercial function in-house to ensure projects are priced and managed more effectively.
This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who wants to step into a standalone role, work closely with senior leadership and have a real impact on the commercial side of the business.
The Role Manage the commercial aspects of projects from tender stage through to final account Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions Manage subcontractor pricing and procurement Track project costs, variations and valuations Prepare and agree final accounts Work closely with the operations and project teams to ensure strong commercial control across projects Identify opportunities to improve margins and cost efficiencies What Were Looking For 48 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role Experience in construction, structural steel or fabrication environments would be highly advantageous Exposure to industrial or commercial construction projects Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience Ability to work independently and take ownership of the QS function within the business Strong communication and organisational skills The Opportunity Join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of work Hybrid Working Model Play a key role as the companys first Quantity Surveyor Work on industrial and commercial projects up to €2.5 M Long-term career growth as the company continues to expand If youd like to learn more about the role, please get in touch directly or apply via the link.
