Design Manager – Dublin (Residential & Apartment Projects)
Our client, a developer with a strong track record in delivering large-scale residential, apartment and mixed-use developments, is seeking a Design Manager (or Senior Coordinating Engineer) for a major housing and apartment scheme in Dublin.

Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design packages for residential and apartment developments from planning through to construction and handover
Manage design deliverables to ensure all drawings, specifications, approvals and certifications are issued in line with programme requirements
Drive compliance with Building Regulations, BCAR, fire safety, accessibility and planning conditions
Coordinate design interfaces across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines, ensuring buildability and cost-effective solutions
Manage design risk, sequencing and constructability in collaboration with the project and site management teams
Liaise closely with consultants, subcontractors, specialist suppliers and local authorities
Provide technical leadership on design queries, value engineering, quality control and issue resolution
Support apartment layouts, unit mix coordination, façade systems, balconies, roofs and internal fit-out detailing
Requirements
5+ years' experience in design management, design coordination or engineering leadership on residential or mixed-use projects
Strong understanding of residential design processes, including apartments, housing schemes and multi-unit developments
In-depth knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR and fire safety requirements
Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors is highly desirable
Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
