* The company requires an experienced Automation Engineer to work on Water and Wastewater projects across the region.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing onsite validation and commissioning of PLC based electrical control systems and instrumentation.
Responsibilities:
* Electrical equipment onsite commissioning
* Checking and testing electrical and instrumentation MCC panels
* Coordinate with all electrical and mechanical personnel to achieve project deadlines
The Automation Engineer will join the Murphy Water engineering business within the Automation & Controls Department, reporting directly to the Automation & Controls Team Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess strong technical expertise in automation and controls engineering. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. Relevant work experience in a similar role is also necessary.
Additionally, the successful candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.
