**Job Title:** Senior Occupational Therapist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Primary Care services. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering and leading evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for children, young people, and/or adults.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored intervention plans to support clients across the lifespan.
* Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff and students, promoting best practice and excellence in occupational therapy.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with service users, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues to promote independence, participation, and quality of life.
* Service Development: Contribute to service planning, quality improvement, and audits, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy and CORU Registration (essential).
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, preferably in Primary Care, Paediatrics, Adult Rehabilitation, or Community Mental Health.
* Skills: Strong clinical reasoning and organisational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a client-centred, collaborative approach to care.
