Job Opportunity: Temporary Payroll Specialist


About the Role

This is a temporary payroll specialist role that will support HR and Finance teams during a peak period. The successful candidate will have experience in managing payroll functions, compliance with local laws and regulations, and proficiency in payroll software.


Key Responsibilities:

* Manage payroll function and ensure accuracy of records
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
* Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve discrepancies
* Collaborate with HR and finance to maintain data accuracy


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

* Proven experience as a payroll specialist or similar role - 5 years
* Strong understanding of payroll procedures and legislation
* Proficiency in payroll software
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and organizational skills

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
