Operations & Logistics Manager – CurlyCo by Denise Walsh
CurlyCo by Denise Walsh is an Irish haircare brand dedicated to celebrating and enhancing curly hair. The CurlyCo range of products includes shampoos, conditioners, masks, defining creams, foam, and hold gels, all free from sulphates and silicones. CurlyCo's goal is to celebrate and empower individuals to embrace their natural curls by providing simple, effective products that enhance definition, hydration, and shine. Stocked in over 240 locations in Ireland and recently launched in Brown Thomas, CurlyCo by Denise Walsh is Ireland's fastest growing and most popular hair care range for Curly hair.
Role Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the supply chain, from production to final delivery, to ensure efficient movement of goods, timely deliveries, and cost optimization.
* Planning logistics operations
* Managing inventory and warehousing and coordinating transportation
* Managing componentry orders and liaising with manufacturer and filling agents
* Placing PO's for orders and forecasting expenses
* Liaising with suppliers and customers, and leading teams to improve processes
* Customer service management
* Managing relationships with the National Distributor and direct retailers
* Point of sale and retailer management

Key skills & Experience Required:
* Strategic Planning & Optimization: Showcase your ability to develop and implement strategies for optimizing logistics operations, enhancing efficiency, and reducing costs.
* Supply Chain Expertise: Detail your experience in managing complex supply chains, inventory, procurement, and distribution.
* Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrate your ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals, fostering collaboration and positive change.
* Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Emphasize your strong analytical mindset and proven ability to solve problems within the logistics environment.
* Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Highlight your excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external partners.
Experience required:
* 2-5 years in a project management, operations or logistic role
* Experience of Shopify Stocky App and understanding of Shopify Analytics is a plus
* Experience with Beauty Packaging experience is also a plus but not essential
* Cosmetics/Beauty industry experience is a plus.
Salary & Package
* This is a part time role of approx. 24 hrs a week with opportunity to work from home for half of the weekly hours. (5 x ½ days or 3 full days)
* Salary - €16 - €22 per hour depending on experience
