Drive Standards, Maintenance & CMMS Excellence
The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities, manage contractor compliance, oversee engineering stores and spare parts ordering, and ensure all maintenance activity is accurately tracked within the CMMS system (Shire System).
This is a key role that supports operational efficiency, audit readiness, and engineering performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop weekly reports and monthly KPIs for the Engineering department
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate corrective and preventative maintenance activities
* Manage and maintain the CMMS system
* Manage subcontractors attending site and ensure all required documentation is in place prior to commencement of work
* Engage with suppliers and order spare parts and engineering consumables
* Manage engineering stores and ensure stock accuracy through daily stock counts and reporting
* Maintain compliance documentation to support audits and regulatory standards
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering function
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in an engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing administrative role
* Experience using CMMS systems (Shire System experience desirable)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
* Experience in stock control, purchasing, and supplier engagement
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments and with external contractors
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
