Job Overview
The Digital Operations Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Digital Operations Manager across the Republic of Ireland business. This position focuses on reporting, analytics, and operational coordination to ensure smooth execution of digital sales, fulfilment, and customer experience initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and stores to drive efficiencies.
YOUR JOB Your Tasks Will Include
* Implement digital solutions in stores to drive efficiencies, increase sales and improve customer services including but not limited to Contactless Click & Collect, LiveOffer and the 3D Virtual Shopping Experience.
* Generate, manage, and analyze reports on digital sales performance, fulfilment efficiency, and customer interactions. Identify trends and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
* Act as the primary point of contact for store teams regarding digital processes, ensuring alignment between online and in-store operations. Assist with troubleshooting and support store staff training on digital tools.
* Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance the digital customer experience.
* Manage the relationship and day-to-day operations for the accepted online payment methods PayPal, humm & WorldPay whilst concurrently seeking new opportunities of growth such as Revolut Pay & BNPL options.
* Responsible for monitoring fraud levels and trends, and providing timely reporting and analysis to support decision-making and risk mitigation.
* Identify areas of improvement for the customer experience to reduce friction and minimise complexity with continual review of areas of improvement on pages such as; FAQs, Returns Policies and Contact Us.
* Ensure content on non-product pages such as Store Finder and Google Business Place are updated in line with company policy.
* Manage the workflow of a remote Online Order Processing team including negotiating commercials and day-to-day duties of the team.
* Proactively ensure continuous feedback loop remains present with all Harvey Norman stores, Finance, Advertising, Head Office teams & Customer Service Department.
* Support of the Head of e-Commerce and the Digital Strategy & Operations Manager as required including ad hoc tasks that lead to the overall growth of the digital channel.
* Assist with the onboarding on new digital staff.

Additional Information
* This is a full time 11 month fixed term contract with a 6 month probationary period and potential for permanency.
* The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day.
