Reporting to the Senior Process Engineer, this role offers a unique, fast‑paced opportunity to work across both Cleanroom environments and our continuous flow line production for our personal home diagnostic kits. As a Junior Process Engineer, you will bridge the gap between process optimization and mechanical upkeep. You will be responsible for driving efficiency through Lean methodologies, keeping technical documentation flawless, and working directly on the floor to support our Maintenance team with equipment troubleshooting and reliability.Duties will be variable depending on the nature of the production needs and ongoing engineering projects. Core responsibilities include:Process Optimization & Lean: Support the implementation of Lean manufacturing methods to eliminate waste, improve cycle times, and optimize continuous flow line efficiency.Work Instructions & Documentation: Create, review, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to ensure operational excellence and compliance.Time & Motion Analysis: Assist in conducting time analyses, capacity studies, and line balancing to maximize production throughput.Maintenance & Operations Support: Provide hands‑on support to the Maintenance team for planned (preventative) and reactive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of plant and automated equipment.Cleanroom & Flowline Support: Ensure optimal equipment performance, workstation layout, and general infrastructure across both Cleanroom and standard manufacturing areas.Validation Assistance: Support the Process Engineering and Validation teams in executing equipment test protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) and compiling technical reports.Automation & Robotics: Assist in the basic diagnostics and maintenance of our packaging and automation systems.Health & Safety: Maintain compliance with safety standards and participate in H & S programs related to facility and process upgrades.QualificationsEducation: 3rd level qualification in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Biomedical, Process, or equivalent).Experience: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (internship/placement experience considered), preferably within the medical device (ISO 13485) or pharmaceutical industries.Adaptability: Comfort working in a cleanroom environment and a willingness to be hands‑on with mechanical/maintenance tasks when needed.Skills: Strong analytical mindset with a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and time‑analysis tools.Tech Savvy: Competency with documentation tools (Google Docs, MS Word) and ability to read technical diagrams/drawings.Nice‑to‑HavesPrevious exposure to automated packaging lines or automation systems.Basic understanding of electrical wiring or circuit diagrams.BenefitsHealth insurance and an Employee Assistance ProgrammeAnnual Compensation ReviewsLetsGetChecked has a Flexible Annual Leave policy.Free monthly LetsGetChecked tests.A referral bonus programme to reward you for helping us hire the best talent.Internal Opportunities and Careers Clinics to help you progress your career within the company.Bike to work scheme - and secure bike storage onsite.Maternity, Paternity, Parental and Wedding leave.Equal Employment OpportunityAt Fuze Health, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity in all its forms.
