We are currently seeking a Financial Operations Director for our clients in Tralee, County Kerry. The successful candidate will oversee all financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for review by senior management.
* Carry out bookkeeping work, enter accounts data and perform reconciliations using Sage 50.
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, creating invoices, following up on payments and maintaining credit control.
* Prepare and submit statutory filings through ROS.
* Compile sales and gross profit reports to inform business decisions.
* Monitor cash flow and prepare budgets and forecasts.
* Liaise with the payroll provider to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.
* Maintain compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
* Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reduce costs.
Requirements
* Qualified Accountant or equivalent finance qualification.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting/finance, preferably with advanced knowledge of Sage 50.
* Proficiency with ROS (Revenue Online Service) and ability to manage payroll, bookkeeping administration and AP/AR.
