This role requires a strong Project Manager with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work to tight deadlines with a pragmatic approachKey Responsibilities:Support the management of the delivery plans ensuring scheduling constraints areadhered to.Support the sequencing and analysis on design and delivery aspects of the programme as required.Ensure all Financial control and tracking for Monthly Production and Costs meetingthe defined Goals and update the Contract Manager.Liaise with Management and wider project co-ordinators, design and build teams toschedule, keep track and report on project status.Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetActively manage risks and issues and propose solutions to those that that will have an impact on delivery timelines or quality.Participate in the development and maintaining of project plans.Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, manage dependencies andcritical path deliverables impacting the delivery programme.Deliver accurate and timely agreed project reports and KPI's from design through tobuild.Deliver accurate and timely deployment schedule updates to the Contract Manager.Align the delivery programme with constraints and plans.Proactively manage stakeholders and with third party service providers or productsuppliers.Ensure resource availability and allocation.Perform risk management to minimize project risks.Follow strategies defined for the contract or programme.Manage middle management staff associated to productive system.Assure Health and Safety rules are followed by all workers complying with MESC's,code of practice, method statements and HSA regulations.Attend all project meetings when needed.Perform and track safety and quality audits.Escalate all doubts that appear during work activities related to Safety and procedures.Continually seek new initiatives and process changes to improve, expand and maturethe PM practices and capabilities for the organisation.Essential Skills & Knowledge Requirements:- 2+ years project manager level experience.- Experience managing electrical substation complex projects preferably withinfrastructure / construction deployments.- In-depth knowledge of Project Management methodology and practices.- Excellent stakeholder management experience.- Ability to prioritize and juggle tasks in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.- Detail oriented and delivery focused with ability to analyse data.- Strong communicator with proven ability to create and foster strong teams and buildcross functional relationships.- Excellent ambassador for Gaeltec, promoting the organisation and role modellingGaeltec's values.- An excellent communicator and leader who is able to motivate themselves andothers to meet stringent deadlines and rise to new challenges with enthusiasm.- Knowledge of current legislation relating to Health, Safety and Environment.- Excellent Skills with Office Tools MS Excel in particular.Gaeltec Utilities are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to creating a diverse working environment.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Additional leaveBike to work schemeEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingWork authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
