Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Specialist

They are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Specialist to lead and manage complex projects in a hybrid working model with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the coordination and management of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project delivery within time constraints, managing stakeholder expectations and relationships.
3. Supervise and mentor junior team members in EIA best practices and report writing skills.
4. Develop and implement effective project management strategies, driving continuous improvement in processes and methodologies.
5. Lead planning applications, conduct pre-application consultations, and ensure high-quality deliverables in line with company objectives and financial targets.
6. Identify project challenges, provide solutions, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in various industries.
Requirements:
1. A degree in environmental science or a related discipline, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in environmental planning and EIA management.
2. Proven track record of successful EIAR report writing and presentation skills, including public speaking and negotiation.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching junior staff members.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
