The Role
Based out of our Oranmore HQ but travelling nationwide on a regular basis, you'll be a very experienced professional ready to hit the ground running in this newly-created, high-level role. Working closely with our Technical, Sales, Production and Procurement Managers, you'll be responsible for generating full waterproofing specification solutions in line with our clients' needs.

You'll bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table and will lead major projects with confidence and unyielding commitment. As this is a newly-created and senior role, you'll have a chance to own and evolve your role, as well as the processes around you, through your valued position as a keystone voice in the business. To be successful, you must be excited by new challenges and remain calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will:
* Have a strong growth mindset
* Be highly organised and able to work to deadlines
* Have superb communication & presentation skills
* Proficient in AutoCad, Revit and MS Office (Excel in particular) and a fast learner with general systems
* Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday
The Role
Reporting to Tecron's directors, you'll develop and take ownership of the company's waterproofing specification strategy and develop goals and KPIs for this vital area of our business. You'll have the commercial knowledge to identify emerging trends and be able to demonstrate a high level of technical competence. You'll also:
* Work closely with Tecron's Management Team to develop and implement a waterproofing specification strategy with a strong, unwavering focus on both newbuild and refurbishment schemes
* Generate industry-leading waterproofing specifications in line with the company's waterproofing specification strategy using your ability to influence building design and procurement policies
* Have extensive experience of the construction industry in Ireland and a proven track record of dealing with large high-value projects
* Develop highly-effective working relationships with the country's leading architectural and consulting engineering practices
* Develop and deliver CPD presentations to architects and engineers nationwide and handle related technical queries
* Have extensive knowledge and experience of building and fire regulations for the construction industry in Ireland
* Undertake site surveys and condition reports appropriately
* Utilise the company's internal support network including our Technical, Sales, Production and Procurement teams to ensure the goals of the waterproofing strategy
