We are hiring a Staff Nurse to lead a nursing home in Louth, Ireland.
Responsibilities: Ensure the efficient running of the nursing home and maintain a supportive, client-focused environment.
Report any client illness promptly and arrange GP or other professional reviews when needed.
Complete, update, and maintain individualised Care Plans in line with An Bord Altranais and company guidelines.
Assess and review clients' health and social care needs, providing direct nursing care and ongoing supervision.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely monthly (or more frequent) Care Plan reviews.
Conduct regular client checks and provide clear, concise shift handovers to relevant staff.
Administer and document medications safely and in accordance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, colleagues, and the multidisciplinary team; participate in meetings as required.
Follow all Health Safety, infection control, emergency, and fire procedures; report hazards, incidents, and equipment issues immediately.
Protect confidentiality, follow all policies and regulations, maintain equipment and security, and perform additional reasonable duties as assigned.
