Manager - Strategic Finance Integration - Dublin
This is a role for an experienced Finance Transformation professional to join a growing business unit focused on strategic finance and ERP system integration during mergers or acquisitions. The company works with large global corporates, private equity managers and SMEs that have been or are targets for acquisition.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive integration plans for financial systems and processes during and post-merger and/or acquisition.
* Work with Private Equity firms as they evaluate target firms for acquisition into their portfolios, focusing on both financial and commercial due diligence.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial data and systems.
* Identify potential integration risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Analyze existing financial systems and processes to identify integration requirements.
* Design and configure financial systems to meet integration objectives.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Lead and manage integration projects from initiation to completion.
* Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
* Work closely with finance, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions.
* Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users during and after integration.
What we are seeking
We are seeking a Qualified Accountant with at least 1-2 years post-qualification experience, ideally from a Project Management and/or Transaction Services/Project Finance background.
This role is unique within the M&A Process and Private Equity space, involving Commercial Due Diligence as well as Strategic financial/ERP alignment and implementation phases.
