Due to an increased project portfolio, the company is seeking a Contract Project Engineer (12 months) to support the delivery of capital and expense projects across Process, Utilities, and Automation/IT systems.Job SummaryReporting to the Projects Programme Manager, the Project Engineer will support Senior Project Managers on large-scale capital projects or independently manage multiple smaller projects, depending on business needs. The role will involve full lifecycle project delivery, with a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and regulatory compliance within a biologics manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional and global teams and will have exposure to senior stakeholders while contributing to the site’s long‑term strategy and transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support projects from concept through execution to close‑outDeliver projects in compliance with safety, engineering, regulatory, and quality standardsDevelop business cases, scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution plansCoordinate internal stakeholders, global engineering functions, and external contractorsManage project finances, including budgets, forecasting, and cost controlOversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and validation supportIdentify, manage, and mitigate project risksEnsure adherence to stage‑gate governance and project management processesRequirementsDegree in Engineering or equivalent experience3+ years’ experience delivering engineering projects in a pharmaceutical or biologics environmentStrong understanding of the project lifecycle and stage‑gate processesProven ability to manage stakeholders, contractors, and cross‑functional teamsExperience delivering projects safely, on time, and within budgetExcellent communication and organisational skillsProficient in MS Office; SAP and budgeting tools desirableBiologics manufacturing experience advantageous
