Responsibilities
Co-facilitator for school-based and community-based groupwork focused on promoting children’s mental health and promotion of well-being.
Support in the preparation and planning of group work interventions and evaluation of group work intervention process and outcomes (e.g basic needs assessment, environmental scans to understanding and identify needs, programme logic, evaluation)
Compile our services to schools, community partners and engage stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure relevancy of our services.
Support in the engagement of stakeholders to be partners in creating a child centric environment that will support their well‑being.
Co‑manage cases identified with risks/needs
Assist in the community needs assessment
Provide administrative support to the team‑crafting of agreements, collation of consent forms, liaison with schools and community partners
Conduct outreach to promote children’s well‑being among children and adults
Support coordination and pooling of community resources and services
Support risks and needs assessment and assist in ensuring clients receive the appropriate service
Qualifications
Diploma in Social Work or related discipline
At least 2 years of experience working with children 6-13 years old and with partners in a group setting
Strong group work facilitation skills
Strong micro skills and understanding of risk
Good written and oral communication
Possess knowledge of the social service and school landscape/resources
Ability to do basic research and evaluation
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
Able to work independently and in a team
Experienced in creative engagements for social service programmes in both virtual and face‑to‑face formats
