Job Title: Principal Specialist in Paediatric Clinical Neuropsychology
About the Role
The post holder will be working within the neurology department initially at a major hospital and subsequently within a combined neurology department. They will provide a highly specialist neuropsychological assessment service, including clinical formulation, diagnosis, and treatment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The post holder's duties will include providing input regarding neuropsychological rehabilitation and intervention to children and adolescents attending the neurology department with various conditions. These include complex epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, neuro-inflammatory conditions, neurovascular conditions, neurodegenerative conditions, and complex neuropsychiatric conditions.
Fundamental Requirements
Name of posts would require relevant qualifications: A recognised University degree or diploma obtained with first-class honours in which psychology was taken as a major subject ; as well as a relevant post-graduate professional qualification in Psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland; or hold an equivalent degree recognized by other similar institutions worldwide..
