Counselling Opportunities in Primary Care
We are seeking Accredited Counsellors/Therapists to join our team in providing short-term counselling services in primary care settings.
The HSE Counselling Primary Care service is a vital component of the healthcare system, offering support to medical card holders aged 18 and over.
Successful applicants will work under the governance of the HSE National Counselling Service and may have the opportunity to provide trauma-informed counselling contracts to adult survivors of childhood trauma.
Key Requirements:
* A recognised Level 7 qualification (QQI) in a relevant human science discipline or equivalent in a health and social care profession or health-related profession.
* Either a degree or post-graduate qualification in counselling, psychotherapy recognised by the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP), or the Irish Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (IABCP); or full accredited membership with one of these bodies; or a post-graduate qualification in counselling psychology or clinical psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
* Minimum two years relevant post-qualification experience.
