Security Commissioning Engineer
Securitas Technology Ireland is seeking a skilled and motivated Security Commissioning Engineer to join our world-class team of security technology professionals.
As part of a multinational and cross-functional delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our most complex and high-profile enterprise clients receive flawless execution of their electronic security systems by supporting our local teams and clients.
You will be part of a collaborative, high-performing global community of engineers, project managers, solution architects, and technical specialists delivering integrated security programs across Ireland and EMEA countries.

What you'll be doing
Commission, test, and validate enterprise-level CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems for global clients.
Specialise in platforms including Lenel, CCure, and Genetec—ensuring all systems are configured, tested, and meet contractual, regulatory, and client expectations.
Collaborate with design, delivery, and project teams across regions to ensure smooth integration and compliance with global standards.
Perform site-based and remote commissioning activities, including functional testing, troubleshooting, system tuning, and client walk-throughs.
Document all commissioning activities, prepare technical reports, and support handover to service and operations teams.
Act as a technical ambassador to clients, delivering exceptional service and instilling confidence through technical knowledge and professionalism.
Participate in global technical forums, share insights, and contribute to continuous improvement and technical innovation.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience commissioning large-scale, integrated security systems.
Hands-on proficiency with Lenel, CCure, and Genetec platforms (certification preferred).
Strong understanding of IP-based video surveillance, access control architecture, and system integration.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, network topologies, and installation standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering excellence under pressure.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel internationally for project delivery as needed.
