As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in our mission to revolutionize the world of payments by delivering innovative and scalable solutions. Our team is dedicated to providing secure and cost-effective payment products to businesses of every size.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing our Kubernetes (ECS) platform on AWS, maintaining and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, implementing and managing observability using Datadog across our platform, supporting and enhancing our AWS cloud infrastructure, and architecting, reviewing, auditing, optimizing, and documenting our deployment processes.
Required skills and qualifications include 3+ years' experience in a senior AWS platform/DevOps engineering role, experience designing AWS multi-region, highly available architectures, strong Kubernetes experience, particularly with AWS ECS, strong experience working with AWS ECS docker migrations, experience implementing and managing Datadog observability, strong AWS knowledge across compute, database, and security services, experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, solid understanding of container security and best practices, strong scripting skills, experience working in regulated environments, self-motivated individual with strong communication skills, ability to work on projects with multiple workstreams and competing deadlines.
It would be beneficial to have experience with GitOps workflows and tools, service mesh technologies, platform engineering concepts, AWS cost optimization, Linux administration, database administration, financial services domain, Agile/SAFe methodologies.
